Nokia Lumia 630 leaked ahead of launch

The popular tipster @evleaks has leaked a photo of supposedly new middle range Lumia device.
Seeing its design it is undoubtedly clear that it is the new Lumia 630. It was earlier leaked as project Moneypenny.
It is the successor to the popular and immensely successful Lumia 620 which was launched around the same time last year.
Its design is a reminiscence of Lumia 620 and it will reportedly be available in the same colours.
The difference however is that it will have on screen buttons just like the Nexus Series or Moto G. The buttona will be the standard Windowa Phone style buttons.
It will also support a third Live Tile column.
If the rumours are to be trusted then the Lumia 630 will be the first Windows Phone to have Dual SIM capabilities.
That's right,  this might be a game changer for Nokia as they have quite a good share in the Market which demands Dual SIM supporting devices.
Other specifications are supposed to be identical to the Lumia 620. Though the screen is a 4.3 inches WVGA display and it has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor clocked at 1.7 GHz.
The device is said to come out with 1 GB of RAM, 8 megapixel rear camera, 2000mAh battery and 8 GB of internal memory with the ability to expand it via microSD card slot.
Nokia is supposed to announce this phone in the event scheduled tomorrow at the MWC at Barcelona. It will reportedly be launched along with a 4G supported Lumia 635.
We do feel that this device is set to be a huge success for Nokia.
Stay tuned for more updates.

Jolla Smartphones in India !!!

For those who don't know, Jolla is a Finnish company formed by ex-Nokia employees which specializes in making handsets which usually are the reminisce of the ols Nokia design before it switched to the Windows Phone platform.

It is reported that Jolla is talking with potential partners for sales of its handsets in Indian market. It has already taken one step and is trying to enter the Indian market through e-commerce route. “Jolla is now rapidly entering into new markets, and is negotiating with partners in several countries, including Russia, India and Hong Kong where Jolla will open online sales in the near future" was said by the company earlier today.

Jolla phones run on Sailfish OS which is their home-brew OS developed considering the Symbian OS which used to be Nokia's proprietary OS. The peculiarity about Sailfish OS is that it will support applications developed for android and the users will be able to port in their favourite applications in Jolla phones with robust hardware. Apart from all this the design of UI is very simple and refreshing than the existing smartphone OS i.e. iOS, Android, Windows Phone and BlackBerry OS.

The company has already started receiving pre-orders for their handsets from India.
Currently, Jolla is a team of about 90 people and works in Helsinki, Tampere, Finland and Hong Kong, SAR of China. Jolla unveiled its first smartphone for about Rs 34,000 (converted) in November 2013 and is now expanding globally.

Jolla has also announced an agreement with F-secure for providing security on their Sailfish OS. Also Jolla customers will be able to access stored content and files from other devices such as tablets, Macs or PCs. This gives them a considerable edge over other competitors in the Smartphone market.

NOKIA NORMANDY... A turning point for Nokia

There was a time when Nokia was the King of the Mobile Industry but in the recent years it began to decline and was toppled from its undisputed position. Many say this was due to their not going for the Android platform and continuing with Symbian and later with WindowsPhone OS.

But the Nokia fans are overwhelmed with happiness over the disputed leaks of Nokia Normandy, the supposed to be "First Android made by Nokia".

So can Nokia regain its once held position as the King of Mobile Industry with this? Lets find out.
Nokia Normandy is supposed to have only one button at the center unlike most of the Androids having 3 buttons. This shows that the UI will be different than on usual androids.

The Supposed UI which was leaked by popular nokia leaker @evleaks on twitter showed us the following image

This shows that the UI is a Hybrid of WindowsPhone OS and Android. It is tipped that Normandy will run on Android KitKat though we don't know the version of it.

The notification panel, which is on the right side of the photo, is a cross between standard Android notification area and the app launcher.

There are alerts for the alarm clock, calendar, Skype, missed calls, gallery and SMS. I
n a true Android fashion, some of them are expandable, too, like the calendar, gallery, phone and SMS texts. They also have quick action shortcuts with contextual menus for each notification.

It also shows a number of android games and apps such as BBM, Jetpack Joyride, Vine, Twitter, etc.

This devices is rumored to be announced officially by Nokia in March this year.
