NOKIA LUMIA 630, 635 and 930

Nokia has recently launched the new range of their Lumia smartphones including Lumia 630, 635 and 930.



Although most of the specs for these phones are similar to the previous generation of Lumias, these look promising as they include a major software update.
That's right the Lumia 630, 635 and 930 will be coming with the new version of OS i.e. Windows Phone 8.1 Out of the box.

Another major update is Nokia's idea to drop the touch capacitive buttons and instead provide the onscreen buttons for navigating and controlling the WP8.1 OS.

LUMIA 630 :

The most promising of these is the Lumia 630 which is the most market friendly of the 3 announced.

The handset has a matte finish on the back which is more flat on the sides and slightly rounded at the back. This makes it resemble it predecessor the Lumia 620.

The Major upgrade is the use of Dual Sim Technology in the Lumia 630. Yes it has two Micro Sim card slots of which one supports 3g and the other is limited just to 2g.

It has 8GB of inbuilt storage capacity and upto 128GB of expandable storage.( WOW isn't this something)

The only let down is the RAM which is 512Mb. We would have loved if this came atleast with a Gigabyte of RAM.

LUMIA 635:

• Battery capacity: 1830mAh

This is the sibling of the 630. It specifications are similar but its uniqueness is its support for 4G LTE. It will support mobile internet upto the speed of 100Mbps.

LUMIA 930:

• Display size: 5''
• Display resolution: Full HD (1920 x 1080)
• Processor name: Qualcomm Snapdragon™ 800
• Maximum talk time (3G): 15.5h
• Battery capacity: 2420mAh
• Wireless charging: Built-in (Qi standard)

Lumia 930 has 5 inch screen, comes with 20 megapixel PureView camera. It has a 1.2 megapixel front camera. This phone will also support 4G telecom services.

 The phone has 2.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm processor, 32GB of internal storage and 2GB RAM. 

PRICE:

Nokia Lumia 630 will be launched in India for a price of Rs. 10,000 excluding taxes.

Lumia 635 will be available for  Rs. 11,700 plus taxes. The same goes for their Big Brother Lumia 930 which will bear a taxless price tag of Rs. 36,000.

Bearing in mind all the mind blowing features that come alongwith Microsoft's Windows Phone 8.1 OS such as Notification Centre, Cortana (voice assistant like SIRI), File Manager, Notification Tiles we think that these series of smartphones will be a huge hit.
